Details: Distance: 11.6 km; duration: 3:30 h; ascent: 192m. The route includes natural paths, a nature trail and road. Difficulty: Difficult, surefootedness required.

Waypoints: We start at the car park at Gradbach next to the River Dane and close to The Mill cafe. Follow the River to Lud’s Church, further to the Hangingstone. Pass Wincle Brewery and follow the River Dane again to the waterfall. The route follows the same track back to the bridge and keeps to the River on the Dane Valley Way until we find the car park again.
